Alma

In the slums of the city of Monterrey there are times when you must kill or be killed, this is usually before dinner, when emotions are running high. This day was particularly hot, one of those days when your sweat evaporates before it can touch the floor. Days on which all bullies fight to find a shade. Alma, with his 15 years living in these areas was considered an expert, so she had no problem in removing a little girl from a good shade. Unfortunately the girl resisted, Alma did not hesitate a second to fight, an accurate blow to the head was all it took, then she only had to throw the small body to the burning pavement. You needed a stone cold hearth to do something like that, any young child under the scorching sun could not survive long. But the heart of Alma had become a kind of an old raisin dried by the heat.

I love the new smarthphones, those cute little things in which people get so immersed they don't pay attention to their surroundings.
The best part is the light, it makes so much easier finding the pretty ones in the darkness.

Soulmate

Every body needs a soul, so when there were more bodies than souls I had to improvise by cutting them in half. This brought an unexpected result "soulmates" two people who share an unbreakable bond. The boss was delighted with the results, and I got a raise.

Of course the solution was only temporary, those humans continue to multiply, every day there is more bodies in need of a soul, I had to cut again, first in 3, 4 and even 5 pieces.

These days they are lucky if they happen to have a hundredth of a part, weak souls do not form a strong connection, love at first sight no longer exists, and to have a love "till death do us part" you have to work for it.

Time travels

The worst invention ever created is sheltered underground, surrounded by 65 ft of reinforced concrete,  inside a safe made of lead, but that does not prevent the occasional leakage of energy here and there.

Finkel Dupal was its inventor and he made sure that it could never be disconnected, the first time machine that grants the ability to travel to the future, specifically it allows a human to travel from friday evening to the next sunday night.
